Get the Look: The Kitchenette

unspecified-1.jpeg

Aside from curating your perfect stay in Austin, Nashville and/or Dallas, there’s nothing more important to us than working with local, female brands. As you know, each house is created around it’s environment, and the women living and working in the city always inspire the space. The HOTELette Austin kitchen is - of course - no exception, if not the best representation of our core value.

To celebrate the launch of her tile collection with Austin-based Clay Imports, we worked with Austin-based designer Elizabeth Mollen of Stone Textile Studio to install her Tanagram design in the HOTELette Austin kitchen. It’s equal parts statement and neutral, so it worked perfectly with the existing furniture we had in the space: vintage Bertoia chairs (similar here and here), a carerra tulip table and upholstered bench seat. We love the way it makes our smoked glass vintage chandelier (similar here) pop. To give more attitude (because that’s who we are, obviously), we added our Oaxaca blanket, Selfie pillow; and set our ideal breakfast scene with the large raffia tray and HOTELette mug.
